I'm thrilled to share that (my son) won second place in a math challenge at school yesterday! He recently shared that he feels much more confident in math. When I asked him why, he mentioned how his tutor explains things and takes the time to help him understand the material rather than just giving him work to complete. It's truly making a difference in his learning and attitude towards math.

I got back my SAT scores this past weekend, and I am really happy with my scores! Both my Math and English went up significantly, and the tricks that we worked on at my tutoring were really helpful. I would love if you could pass along my appreciation to my tutors who were so helpful to me.

My 9-year old daughter did not enjoy school, did not enjoy reading or writing, and did not believe she could learn. Then we found Bowie. With the support and instruction of the incredible tutors and staff, my daughter found her passion for learning and, most importantly, the belief that she can achieve.

In just three months our son has seen gains in mathematics. His teachers have noticed that he participates more and is more confident. His teachers know the name of his tutor because my son talks about him all the time. As a teacher myself, it is so important to me that he fosters a love of learning and I consider Bowie a major player in this goal.
