    My favorite hobby is napping, though I also enjoy reading novels and geocaching when the weather is nice.

      I moved to Memphis in 2024 with my husband and three cats, but I was born and raised in the Kansas City metro area. I am passionate about bridging my backgrounds in STEM and mental health to help students overcome academic performance anxiety and find their paths to success. Outside of work and school, I love to paint and walk around our neighborhood.

        I love spending time with my nieces & nephew and my cat, reading, talking about books, watching and participating in musical theater, and watching and playing sports.

          I love sports, especially golfing. I also have 2 grandchildren (and a third on the way) that I enjoy spending time with.

            I started my career in education 30 years ago teaching K-2. I am married to Bryan, and have two grown sons. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and doing any type of arts and crafts.
